Adopt-a-Park Initiative: Uniting Community & Local Government

EARIST marked a significant milestone in community engagement and environmental stewardship through the launch of the “Adopt-a-Park Initiative: Uniting Community & Local Government” at the Arroceros Forest Park in the City of Manila. The initiative, spearheaded by the Office of Extension & Community Services in collaboration with the College of Hospitality and Tourism Management (BS Tourism), actively engaged residents, students, and stakeholders in environmental care through collaborative efforts with local government units, promoting shared responsibility for the maintenance and preservation of public parks.

To promote environmental sustainability, civic engagement, and inclusive community development by strengthening partnerships between the academic institution and local government units in the care and preservation of public green spaces.
