Abstract

This descriptive survey research examined the role and impact of stakeholder input in assessing needs and determining requirements for school income-generating projects (IGPs) at the Eulogio \"Amang\" Rodriguez Institute of Science and Technology (EARIST). The study focused on key IGPs including the School Cafeteria, Bookshop, Rental Facilities, and After- School Programs, with the goal of evaluating their operational efficiency, financial contribution, and responsiveness to institutional and community needs. A purposive sampling technique was employed to select 89 respondents composed of students (50), staff (32), and community stakeholders (7). Data were analyzed using weighted mean, Likert scale, ranking, and Analysis

of Variance (ANOVA). Results revealed that all existing IGPs were positively evaluated by

stakeholders, particularly the Cafeteria, which was recognized for efficient operation, waste

reduction, and a diverse menu. The Bookshop and Rental Facilities also received favorable

assessments, although staff respondents rated rental utilization slightly lower than students and community members. After-School Programs were found to be functional but limited in visibility and scope, suggesting the need for program expansion and promotional strategies. Findings

affirmed a high level of stakeholder satisfaction, supporting the hypothesis that effective

identification of IGP needs is positively related to stakeholder input. Although some perceptual

variations were observed, ANOVA results indicated no statistically significant differences among

groups. The study concludes that enhancing stakeholder participation and operational management through a Sustainable Resource Generation Plan will strengthen underperforming ventures and ensure that IGPs remain aligned with the institution\'s educational and community

development goals.
