Abstract
This study focuses on the development of a Mobile-Based Tire Service Locator Application that integrates image processing technology to assist vehicle owners in detecting tires issues and locating nearby service shops. The application utilizes image processing algorithms to analyze tire tread conditions and detect damages, ensuring convenience and efficiency in tire inspection process. The chief objective of the study is to enhance customer engagement, improve service accessibility, and provide digital platform for efficient interaction between users and tire service providers. A prototype was tested using convenience sampling with 397 respondents in Barangay Malanday, Marikina City, Philippines. The system was developed using the Agile development methodology, Incorporating iterative improvements throughout the development cycle. The application evaluated based on ISO 25010 Software Quality Characteristics, evaluating functional suitability, usability, reliability, security, and portability. Findings indicated high user satisfaction, particularly regarding the system\'s accuracy in tire assessment, ease of use, and secure access control. The study concludes that integrates image processing into mobile applications significantly enhances tire vehicle maintenance efficiency. Future recommendations include expanding compatibility across platforms, integrating real-time monitoring, and further strengthening security features.
