Abstract
This study examines how well the Eulogio Amang Rodriguez Institute of Science and Technology (EARIST) complies with Presidential Decree No. 856, also known as the Sanitation Code of the Philippines, regarding the provision of health and sanitation services in schools. Public Law 856 requires all establishments, including educational institutions, to maintain hygienic restrooms and offer sufficient medical services in order to protect the public\'s health. The study\'s goal is to ascertain how well EARIST has complied with the rules on the supply of water, the removal of trash, the provision of restrooms, the teaching of pupils about hygiene, and the provision of medical and dental care. Surveys, key informant interviews, facility inspections, and documentation analysis were used to gather data for the descriptive- evaluative study design. Students, administrators, and medical professionals participated. The study looked into how well sanitary facilitics worked, how meticulously they were maintained, and how many mcdical personnel were on hand. Furthermore, it examined the extent to which health education initiatives were integrated. According to the results, EARIST has worked hard to adhere to some of the requirements of PD 856, like making sure that restrooms are operating properly and provide patient\'s basic medical carc. However, there remain shortcomings in areas like regular facility maintenance, the integration of health education, and rubbish management. It was made clear to everyone that the infrastructural and financial issues are the biggest obstacles to complete compliance.
