Abstract
Accreditation are essential for all Higher Education Institutions (HELs) in the Philippines. Being accredited by Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) one prestigious accrediting body in the Philippines not only guarantee for quality standards observance, but also maximizing public confidence in academic services that mirrored a world class learning-environment which enhance employability of students and school credibility. The process of preparing document for accreditation involves a laborious documentation, monitoring and roporting, ensuring that all evidences of different benchmark per area has completed. Thus, these significant challenges encountered by Eulogio \"Amang\" Rodriguez Institute of Science and Technology (EARIST) Cavite Campus with по centralized and integrated document management system, leading to inefficiencies, serlous issues in administering accreditation documents, narrowing down to tracking, filing, retrieving, and authenticating them. These concerns have made streamlining the documentation process, demanding improvements in documentation management. In order to resolve these issues, this research sought to develop a web- based document management system (DMS) specifically designed for managing academic accreditation documents for the Quality Assurance Office of EARIST Cavite. The study used a descriptive- developmental design using the Agile approach. Respondents were selected using a purposive sampling technique. ISO/IEC 25010 software quality assessment and Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) framework was utilized to evaluate the system using a descriptive statistics Hike mean and ranldng. Results show that all TAM variables were rated as Strongly Agree, and ISO/IEC 25010 rated Excellent for all criteria. These results prove that the system is operational, well-accepted, and of quality software standards, and thus a useful tool for enhancing the accreditation
documentation process at EARIST Cavite. The findings suggested that the system includes an automatic tracking mechanism for document preparation, thus aiding EARIST Cavite in having better practices.
